Thank you for your patience with the cancellation of our Grandma Moses lesson due to weather. Here are a variety of resources that we hope will be helpful to you in your study of Grandma Moses.

Take Home Sheets (These can be printed and then completed)

Art Activity:

Instructions:

  1. Paint snow landscape on light blue paper. Paint at least ½ of page and then let dry.
  2. Using paper, felt, or fabric cut out a variety of shapes (squares, rectangles, triangles, etc).
  3. Arrange these shapes to make houses and utilize perspective. Place larger house close to the bottom of the paper and smaller houses farther back on the paper.
  4. Glue everything down. Glue sticks work best on paper and liquid glue on fabric and felt.
  5. Add extra details such as shutters, fences, paths, animals, people, clothes line, etc.
