Bowen Collection of Antiquities General Tour
Any enthusiast of history (junior high and above) or student of Scripture will benefit from visiting the Bowen Collection displays for insight into the cultures of the earliest civilizations. The pupil of archaeology will marvel again at the developments of past civilizations and their preserved practices.  Come examine a Bethlehem manger from the first century, a Torah scroll, a tablet inscribed by King Nebuchadnezzar, and a Roman die.  Make eras of the past come alive through this exciting exploration!

 

Exploring Ancient Civilizations
Teachers, parents, and children (6-12) alike will enjoy examining the numerous archaeological treasures from Egyptian, Roman, and Hebrew cultures on this tour.  View a Roman mirror, a Hebrew baby rattle, and Egyptian makeup. Participate in the hands-on activities of the Bowen Discovery Center and find that learning about the everyday lives and customs of these ancient civilizations can be both revealing and fascinating.
